I got my start in cake decorating 10 years ago by completing all three of the Wilton cake decorating classes at a local craft store. The bug bit hard, as this was followed by membership to the local cake decorator's club in order to gain exposure to workshops and technical expertise. After seeing and tasting my cakes, I received so much encouragement from friends and colleagues to do this professionally. Many workshops and Days Of Sharing later, together with an ever growing cake decorating book and video library, I have been a virtual sponge absorbing all that the world of sugar art has to offer.
